Tea And Boobs

Is there a connection between the size of a woman's breasts and the amount of tea she drinks? Why, it's enough to send a collective shudder through the ranks of the world's plastic surgeons. But before you go racing off to your local tea shop to stock up let's consider the source of this gem of wisdom. As reported in the British press recently, a "stunner" named Keeley Hazell somehow arrived at the conclusion that not only do British women have the biggest hooters but that this is somehow the result of drinking tea. Whatever. As you were.

While we're on the subject of somewhat goofy health claims for tea, here's one that suggests that green tea might just be the antidote for feeling "feeling old and blue."

Last up and not quite so frivolous - a recent study published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry reported the results of a clinical study supporting yerba mate’s LDL cholesterol reducing power. The new study finds that three to four cups of South American yerba mate per day decreases bad LDL cholesterol, increases good HDL cholesterol and has synergistic effects with statin therapy.

The title of this post made me laugh out loud! As did "Whatever. As you were." Haha! :)

Four cups of yerba mate? Wow, wouldn't that be a heck of a lot of caffeine? I will admit that I don't know much about yerba mate as of right now.
